Originating in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand in the 1980s, Trimax Mowers were originally developed for the booming New Zealand Kiwifruit industry. But demand soon grew from groundsmen and turf managers who had heard of the mowers’ reputation for durability, quality of cut, and low maintenance.

Today Trimax designs and manufactures a wide range of rotary and flail equipment, which has become the benchmark worldwide. From England’s Windsor Castle to US PGA Championship courses, we’re continuing to raise the bar on results.

30 years of Aussie History.

Trimax has had a presence in the Australian market for over 30 years, 27 of which were under the familiar orange colours and branding of our previous distributor, Howard Australia.

We now sell our full range of Trimax mowers in our own right, under the Trimax global brand. Based on our brand-new, purpose-built operations and distribution center located in Melbourne, Victoria, we distribute through a national Elite Dealer Network, offering a customer service model that we believe is one of the best in the industry. More than 4,000 Trimax-manufactured mowers have been sold across Australia over the past 30 years, enhancing our excellent reputation for product design, performance, and reliability.

Today Trimax has manufacturing facilities in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. With over 33,000 mower decks sold worldwide, Trimax is now a global leader in commercial mowing systems.
